Hello, it's Osamu, your manga blogger!

For a manga protagonist, "harboring a monster inside your body" is the classic, ultimate romantic trope, isn't it?

In Dandadan, Jiji (Jin Enjoji) is possessed by the powerful supernatural entity "Evil Eye," displaying overwhelming physical abilities. Destroying buildings while wearing nothing but briefs is just too crazy (lol).

So today, I’m ranking these characters with "possessed constitutions" or "inner powers" in a crossover special! How does the "Evil Eye" stack up against "Sukuna" or the "Nine-Tails"? Here is Osamu's TOP 10 ranking based on danger level, combat power, and sheer awesomeness!

Ranking: #10 to #4

  • #10: Shinichi Izumi / Migi (Parasyte)

    • The cold, calculating strategist in the right hand. Combat power is lower than the top tiers, but learning ability and defense are top-notch.

  • #9: Kafka Hibino / Kaiju No. 8 (Kaiju No. 8)

    • An old guy swallows a kaiju and transforms. A punch with Fortitude 9.8 is a threat, but control is still an issue?

  • #8: Allen Walker / The 14th (D.Gray-man)

    • An Exorcist and a Noah. The degree of mental erosion and his importance to the fate of the world are huge.

  • #7: Akira Fudo / Amon (Devilman)

    • The original "possessed" hero who obtained a demon's body. His strength is at the level of a global armageddon.

  • #6: Asta / Liebe (Black Clover)

    • Harboring an "Anti-Magic" devil in a world where magic is everything. Dealing with the devil through muscle and guts is hot!

  • #5: Ichigo Kurosaki / Hollow Within (Bleach)

    • The white Ichigo lurking within the Substitute Soul Reaper. The despair-inducing strength and rampage when fully Hollowfied are traumatic.

  • #4: Denji / Pochita (Chainsaw Man)

    • Harboring the "Chainsaw Devil" in his heart. With near-immortal regeneration and concept erasure (Pochita's true form), he's definitely Top 3 material.

#3: Jiji (Jin Enjoji) / Evil Eye (Dandadan)

Possessed by: Evil Eye (Powerful Cursed Spirit)

Here comes Jiji from Dandadan! The terror of the Evil Eye lies in its "unreasonable physical specs" and the "depth of its grudge." Without special techniques or magic, he shatters buildings purely with the power of kicking a "cursed ball." Moreover, unlike Okarun, "basically, you can't reason with him" (though he's getting slightly better?). The risk that he might massacre everyone, including allies, if he takes over makes him a veritable "disaster."

#2: Yuji Itadori / Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Possessed by: Ryomen Sukuna (King of Curses)

Number 2 is, of course, this duo (?). The vessel of the "King of Curses." The cursed energy that increases with every finger consumed is beyond standard measurements. If he uses his Domain Expansion "Malevolent Shrine," the unavoidable slashes turn the surroundings into a wasteland. The biggest despair point is that Sukuna "hijacks the protagonist's body to perform the worst possible acts to break his spirit." In terms of the tension of "domination" vs. "coexistence," no one beats them.

#1: Naruto Uzumaki / Nine-Tails (Kurama) (Naruto)

Possessed by: Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama)

Taking the glorious #1 spot is the world's most famous ninja! Once the "incarnation of hatred" that destroyed the village, after reconciling, "Kurama Mode" is on another dimension of strength. Tailed Beast Bombs that blow away mountains, inexhaustible chakra, and the ultimate "Baryon Mode." Aside from strength, in terms of the catharsis of "joining hands with a loathed monster to become the strongest partners," Naruto and Kurama are the eternal No. 1!

What did you think? The "Evil Eye" has insane potential, but the walls of the "King of Curses" and "Tailed Beasts" were thick...! Who is your "Strongest Possessed Character"? Let me know in the comments!
