What would happen if the characters of One Piece were to wander into the world of another anime or manga? Just imagining how their personalities and abilities would be utilized in another world is exciting! This time, we imagined how the Straw Hat Crew would play an active role in other major works.
1. The World of Dragon Ball – “Luffy will fight alongside a Super Saiyan!?”
If the Straw Hat Crew were to wander into the world of Dragon Ball, Luffy would likely hit it off with Goku and Vegeta and begin training. He might even master a Kamehameha-style technique by making use of his rubber body. Zoro would become rivals with Trunks, who uses swordsmanship, and Nami would plan an adventure with Bulma, so we can expect some unexpected combinations.
2. The World of Attack on Titan – “The Straw Hat Crew takes on the challenge of defeating a Titan!”
In this world, Zoro is likely to play a leading role. I can picture Zoro using the 3D Maneuvering Gear to cut down the Titans one after the other. Luffy will also wrap his rubber arms around the Titans and try to turn the tables with a "Gomu-Gomu Titan Punch". Meanwhile, Sanji might become a local hero by serving lavish meals to people suffering from food shortages.
3. The World of Jujutsu Kaisen - "Devil Fruit vs. Curse Battle!"
In Jujutsu Kaisen, Luffy's Haki acts as "Curse Power" and is likely to be powerful enough to face off against special-grade cursed spirits. Zoro will be a master of the use of cursed tools and a great three-sword sorcerer. I can imagine Nami using her intelligence to plan strategies, and Sanji fusing his "kick technique" with curse power to fight elegantly. The clash of "Curse vs. Haki" is a highlight!
4. The World of Pokemon – “Luffy becomes a rubber-rubber Pokemon trainer!”
If Luffy were a Pokemon trainer, his adventure partner would surely be a Pokemon with the ability to stretch like rubber. It’s fun to imagine a “new species of rubber-type Pokemon.” It looks like it will be fun to see them take advantage of their individual personalities to take on the tournament, with Nami using a Pokemon with the ability to control the weather and Sanji taking care of his Pokemon with cooking.
5. The World of Demon Slayer – “Swordsman Zoro challenges the Pillars!”
In the world of Demon Slayer, Zoro is likely to fight on equal terms with the Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka, and the Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa. Just imagining how powerful his three-sword style swordsmanship incorporating the “Breath of Total Concentration” will be makes my heart beat faster. It looks like we will see a scene where Luffy also uses his Haki to face demons, and Nami uses her wits to save the Pillars from a pinch.
6. The world of Hunter x Hunter – “The Straw Hats acquire Nen abilities”
In this world, Luffy will further strengthen the properties of rubber as an “enhancement” Nen user. Zoro will be able to attack from a distance with his “emission” sword technique, and Nami will be able to freely control the weather with her “manipulation” ability. We can expect to see their growth in the scenes where they challenge Greed Island with Gon and Killua, and in the battle with Hisoka.
7. The world of One Punch Man – “Luffy vs Saitama!?”
The highlight of the story will be when Luffy exchanges fists with Saitama! Zoro will hone his fighting skills while training with Genos, and Nami will likely play an active role as the operation commander of the Hero Association. Sanji will become famous as a “hero chef” who serves food while protecting the people of the city.
Summary: The Straw Hats shine in other works too!
In every world, the characters of One Piece will use their individuality to embark on new adventures and battles. When we imagine collaborations with other works, our hearts are excited at the possibility of unexpected combinations and friendships being born!
